Thanks to a number of dedicated village residents, Micky Murray and Belfast City Council we now have a defibrillator installed in the village. It is located on the paved area beside the playpark, on the electric box. If you suspect someone has gone into defibrillation call 999 and the ambulance service will talk you through how to use the defibrillator. There is a code to access the defibrillator which the ambulance service will give you when you call them to allow you to gain access. The defibrillator will only administer a shock if the person is in fibrillation so it is perfectly safe for anyone to use, just follow the instructions it provides.

a fantastic addition. Let’s hope its never needed but a great achievement for all those involved
fabulous- thanks to everyone who facilitated this
