In our village survey a number of people mentioned that they would like to see something done about the litter around the village. So on Saturday 18 June, with the help of some excellent litter-picking equipment from Lisburn City Council, 10 of us walked the village and up to the T-junction at the top of the hill collecting litter. We bagged 20kg of litter! Hopefully, the next time we do it there won’t be so much! Thanks to all who helped.
