You are warmly invited to take part in a project called Green Space Dark Skies Lagan Valley that will take place in a location very near you:
When? Saturday 30 April 2022
Where? Giant’s Ring
Times? Lumenators will be needed from 7 – 10pm
Lumenators will carry a low impact light to create patterns in the landscape captured on film. Each short film will incorporate the stories of the people and places featured and will be broadcast online shortly after the event.
Come on a creative adventure with us, and journey into the landscape. It’s a chance to meet new people and be part of something truly special. You can join alone, with family and friends, or with an organisation. To protect the landscape the exact locations will only be revealed to people who have booked a place to take part, but we are telling you as you live nearby, and we wanted to give you the opportunity to take part. If you can’t participate, please help us to keep our location a secret.
As the site is very close to your place of residence, we suggest that you would leave Edenderry at approx. 6.30pm and walk along the path between the village and the Giant’s Ring, to arrive on site by 7pm.
