Edenderry Residents Oil Buying Group
The oil buying group is a coordinated  way for the residents to obtain a reduced price for home heating oil. The idea is to increase the quantity the supplier delevers to the village and in return they offer the oil at a reduced price.

Notifying the group of your interest.
This can be done by:

• Subscribe to the Edenderry Residents blog – See right hand panel of this page.
• Send an email to 

• If you have no access to email, contant Gavin at house number 57 (one of the gable ends at the square) directly leaving a phone number.

How the buying group works
Once subscribed you will be notified, to when the next oil order is to placed. You then contact me with your order quantity, this can be a volume (e.g. 350, 500, 1000  litres etc)  or request a fill up with an estimated volume for the fill up.
A couple of days before the order date, the supplier and price shall be agreed , you shall be notified and you make the order with the supplier. The supplier groups the order and delivers each order.
Your contract is with the supplier and you pay the supplier directly.

The delivery date is not to be confused with the order date. Please note that I have no influence over the delivery schedules as the oil supplier advises me of the oil delivery dates.
