Planting the community garden

The flowers were planted on Saturday  15th June by a group of residents aged from 6 years old up!

The soil preparation was undertaken by Lisburn City Council. The Council also provided top soil and 1000 potted plants, on the understanding that the Community would plant  and care for them.

Most of these plants are perennials and in years to come they will propagate to provide more plants to establish across our Village .

If you have some time to spare, gardening ideas, or just want to contribute to the community, join the group for the next project.
